Wednesday, September 20, 2017

Apple celebrated 10 years of their smartphone product, iPhone, which was introduced by Steve Jobs in 2007. Therefore, Apple decided to set 2017 as a special year by making the announcement of new products at Steve Jobs Theater on their new headquarters, Apple Park, Cupertino, California. Among new products, the one that really drives people crazy about the event is iPhone ten (written as
iPhone X).

iPhone X is one of the three new iPhone introduced by Tim Cook as “the biggest leap since the original iPhone.” The design of iPhone X has revamped from eliminating home button to having an edge-to-edge glass design. With the home button gone means that this iPhone doesn’t have the touch ID feature anymore. As for the alternative, Apple introduced the face ID which is an advanced array of cameras for facial recognition. In short, users can unlock the device by looking at it without typing a passcode or using a fingerprint. This is not the first time Apple decided to elevate their new iPhone by removing the previous part of it. A year ago, Apple removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack and exchanged with wireless earphone which connected by Bluetooth on iPhone 7 features.

The buzz on iPhone X took over all social media from 12 until 14 September 2017. Overall, they showed both excitement and disappointment because of the expensive price or another missing feature. By using our tools, we have monitored how viral the news is in Indonesia. Let’s have a look:
